You and Rasgado got along quite well. Despite both being a Taurus as well, you agreed with a lot of what Rasgado did in his life. You know that having someone make the rules for you or tell you what to do can be annoying and unfair, so you bite your tongue and go with the flow. You and Rasgado both have a deep love and respect for each other and that’s enough for you. Rasgado was a sweetheart when it came to getting something that had caught your eye. Whether it be a small trinket or a necklace with the stars that make up Taurus.

Rasgado loves to spoil you. Whether it's your birthday, your anniversary, or whatever, he is giving you gifts. You won’t say that you have cried, but tears have fallen down your face at how wonderful your boyfriend is.  You knew that from day one, you didn’t have to worry about anything when it came to Rasgado. He was loyal and loved only you. “Rasgado! It's lunch time!” You called from the kitchen. The Taurus saint yawned as he walked down the stairs. 

“What are we having?” He asked, wrapping his arms around your waist, pressing a kiss to your cheek as he watched you finish cooking. You giggled before turning around and wrapping your arms around Rasgado, and pressing your ear against his chest. He smiled, leaning down and pressing a kiss to the top of your head. “Ramen, with chopped vegetables and chicken. It's not super extravagant but it was something my mother always made me when I was little.” You said, a smile sitting on your lips. He returned the smile and leaned down, pressing his lips to yours. 

You giggled into the kiss before pulling away. “Go sit down. The ramen is almost done now.” You whispered, turning around and started stirring the ramen again. You hummed softly to yourself before taking some of the noodles out and testing them. “Perfect.” You mumbled. You turned the stove off and grabbed the bowls. You dished up lunch and grabbed four chopsticks. You placed the bowl down and a set of chopsticks. “Enjoy!” You smiled at him. Rasgado and you began eating and you couldn’t help the memories that flooded into your mind. 

“I love you Y/n.” Rasgado mumbled, looking over at you. You looked up from your food and your face heated up. “I l-love you too.” You mumbled back, the blush on your face darkening. Rasgado chuckled loudly. “You still get so red even though we have been dating for 4 years now.” He raised his hand and pressed it against your cheek. You smiled softly and leaned into his touch, closing your eyes and sighing. He smiled as you leaned further into his hand. “I hope that we can live together forever. I don’t want to lose you.” He whispered softly. You opened your eyes and looked at him. You felt tears well up in your eyes. 

“I want to stay with you too. Forever.”

As he stepped back, he soon realized that it was not Sisyphus that he was hugging but the other Sagittarius saint. Sagittarius Aiolos. He laughed, embarrassingly. “Sorry about that! It was rude of me to mistook you for my friend.” Especially when his friend was so much older than Aiolos… how did he make such a simple mistake? (His real name is Hasgard (or Rasgado depending on the translations) but he goes by Aldebaran, that probably will confuse Aiolos even more haha)

Aiolos remembers very well, when the younger saints arrived at Sanctuary. One by one, the masters arrived with their fairly young apprentices. The Taurus saint literally stood out from his peers, even though since day 1 he always showed himself to be very shy, and mostly hid away behind his imponent and huge master. Despite the young age, the young boy was much taller than the other boys. At the age of 7, he was about the same height as himself!

It will be just a matter of time, until that boy gets so much taller than him. Just how tall is Aldebaran going to get once he reaches adulthood?

Will he be as tall as this realm's Taurus saint?

Aiolos may not have flinched when Aldebaran approached him, and effortlessly got him into that bear hug. But he let out a meek squeak, when it felt like those powerful arms were going to effortlessly, crush his bones. Thankfully, that wasn't the case, and he would be soon let go. Although, he was left panting for air, once he was let go.

"I'm-- I'm okay- huff-" Aiolos uttered out between his huffs and pants. "Ahn- Is that the other Sagittarius? Ah! I've run into him!" He exclaimed, once he managed to recompose himself.

What if: The LC gold saints come back to life to and they meet 20th century gold saints also see that the world have changed. (I always have that idea btw, And it’s fun to think about it) :)

Aries Shion : technically he knows the 20th century, but let’s think about what his youngself would.

- he would be VERY surprised that his oldself is the Pope. His youngself doesn’t imagine it at all, he tries at least to be a decent Gold Saint and sometimes that’s really hard.

- meeting Mu, knowing it’s his student, would surprised him too because he doesn’t consider himself as a good teacher. But he would be so proud because Mu is a very good Aries Saint (and a good teacher too).

Taurus Rasgado :

- he’s proud that the Taurus Gold Saints keep naming themselves Aldebaran.

- he would really like 20th century Aldebaran

- they would do an arm wrestling and after go barhopping together

Gemini Aspros :

- he wouldn’t like Saga because he has too much integrity, because he’s a nice guy.

- he would certainly try to awake the bad Saga if he comes to know his existence.

- but in a way he would be impressed by what Saga achieved (becoming the Pope and deceive everyone for a long time).

Cancer Manigoldo :

- he would be very upset by the lack of respect of Deathmask, especially for the Pope and Athena. Would curse and yell at him.

- what he hates above all is Death so he would really hate Deathmask who loves it.

Leo Regulus :

- they won’t get along well

- he would consider Aiolia as his big brother but wouldn’t understand why the 20th century Saint rejects him

- eventually Aiolia would become his rolemodel

Virgo Asmita :

- lots of respect between these two.

- they would speak about things like spirituality, being a Gold Saints, doubts.

Libra Dohko :

- he would be amazed that is oldself is still full of spirit

- his oldself would reminds him Rasgado in the way he teaches his student.

Scorpio Kardia :

- he would find Milo too serious, too much of a goody two-shoes

- he would find the usefulness of Scarlet Needle (used for redemption) ridiculous.

- he would certainly try to beat Milo.

Sagittarius Sysiphus :

- he would be seriously amazed by Aiolos, above all by his sacrifice.

- he would be almost self-conscious next to him.

- but he would feel uncomfortable with the behaviour of Aiolos outside of his Gold Saint duties.

Capricorn El Cid :

- he would be satisfied with Shura’s Excalibur, he would congratulate him

- he would be honored by the sense of justice of Shura

- they would play chess together

Aquarius Degel :

- the two Aquarius Saint would get along very well

- they would compare their freezing skills

- he would ask Camus about books of the 19th and 20th century

Pisces Albafica :

- he would hate Aphrodite because of he’s who he is.

- they wouldn’t argue about beauty because Albafica doesn’t care at all, even if Aphrodite tries to.

- he would not fear staying next to Aphrodite and poison him

Do you have any headcanon about Aldebaran/Rasgado and Asmita meeting in the after life? I mean, i was wondering about it, i just finished the anime,and there was the scene where Aldebaran visited the Virgo Temple and etc... and sorry if my grammar is incorrect!

I never really though about it (yet to properly get in tlc mood), but one thing I like to imagine is them having some genuine fun. Some laughs.  I love Rasgado’s personality, and I bet if he meets Asmita in the afterlife he’s gonna make him have fun.  Lighthearted conversations, jokes, anything Rasgado can think about to build up a good friendship. Better late than never!

Asmita needs a good friend in his (after)life, after all. And who’s better than Rasgado? Of course, he has to stop scolding him for dying like that first. I can very well picture Rasgado going straight up mother mode on him, before offering him something to drink. 

I bet I can come up with more if I actually start writing tlc content, but for now this is the only thing I can give you.

Can i ask how would be rasgado with a 19 yo s/o student , sensitive,clumsy, most of the time late to train, but feeling guilty, daydreamer, good sens of humor and really into art with a low self esteem and a taurus too ? Here you go! Sorry it came out so late, and sorry if it's short!

Rasgado loves everything about you. He doesn’t care if you're clumsy or sensitive(He cares when something upsets you and gets your sensitive side in a twist). He’s willing to fight anyone that tries to say you don’t deserve him or vice versa. He does everything he can think of to help with your low self esteem. When he catches you talking badly about yourself he has his arms wrapped securely around you and saying all the good things about you. Then he’ll move to the great things about you, and then the excellent things he’s seen about you.

He refuses to let you say otherwise and is pretty stubborn about it. He loves when you cuddle him on days that you are completely stressed out by school work or work in general. He doesn’t like when you are studying too long or don’t give him cuddles or kisses before going to do homework. He does however love to watch you draw. The way you concentrate on what you are doing and what you are drawing makes him fall more in love with you. He is constantly telling you how much he loves your art and tells you that you should hang the art around your shared room. 

He gets so pissed when people are being absolute assholes so he just stomps over to you and wraps his arms around your waist and glares at the people that are pestering you. People tend to be scared when Rasgado comes around town just because of how tall he is and how muscular he is. In reality, he is like a giant teddy bear. He loves cuddles and when he gets home from a long tiring day of saint work, he just plops on the couch, turns the tv on and makes sure that you are near before he pulls you into his lap to cuddle with you while watching his favorite show. You always giggle at this.

You and Rasgado make the perfect couple. You both compliment each other and the other saints can see just how in love Rasgado is with you. They watch how he protects you when someone comes to you with the intent to hurt you or to get angry at you. He loves everything about you and will fight the world if he has too. He hates seeing you sad and will take you from what you are doing to your bed and will lay down with you and cuddle with you. He will rub your back and draw shapes on your back till you have calmed down a bit. He will smile softly at you before pressing a kiss to your forehead and telling you to sleep. When you eventually fall asleep, he smiles and falls asleep next to you in an instant. He will do anything for you.

Hasgard/Rasgardo: It's okay, nothing wrong with it, I'm a patient man so I don't particularly care about waiting, unless it happens on a mission. Then, duty and discipline are more important than the personal reasons for being late. Other than that, being late is also bad when it becomes disregard and disrespect for the person who has to wait. In all the other cases, it's nothing wrong. I'm used to wait for my colleagues to show up for the gold saint meetings and you don't know how many times we had to start half a hour later because someone like Manigoldo, Dohko or Shion was late. The same goes for the clumsiness, you are like my little students in that regard. I think that clumsy people are nicer than overly precise people, because the former know how to forgive others for their mistakes much more than the latter. Anyway, thank you for your question and good luck with your life, Anon!

Honest Opinion - Taurus Aldebaran LC

I know, I know, his real name is Rasgado or Hasgard or however you want to make this works, but he wants to be called Aldebaran and I’m calling him Aldebaran. 

Overall score (character, not looks): 10/10

Needless to say, I liked him a lot.  I honestly didn’t expect to like Aldebaran as much, I’ve never really cared a lot about the Taurus Saints in this franchise, as it surely showed following the score classic Aldebaran got in my previous series.  But LC Aldebaran? I don’t know why, I legit have no idea why, but I liked him a lot. And I mean a lot. 

First thing first, this character has balls of steel. Plain and simple. He faced Specters left and right and didn’t even flinch, for heaven’s sake, simply stood there fighting with that damn smile on his face.  That’s already a huge chunk of credit I can give him.  I love characters that act like that, fearless but not reckless, and especially not angry. Not always, at least.  The majority of the fearless characters I’ve seen in various pieces of media have the annoying trait of also turning perfectly fine people into idiots running face-first into danger, and that’s not the case with Aldebaran. 

No, he remains with his feet on the ground, and shows off his power by being damn responsible about it.  Not responsible in the meaning of “I’m doing whatever I can to not get hurt”, but in the meaning of “I will fight without trying to die, and if I get hurt it’s fine, that’s what I’m here for”.  Did you think he had a particular death wish, when he fought against those two Specters trying to kill Tenma? I didn’t.  And I was so damn upset when he died, that death hurt like hell. 

Aldebaran is a resolute character that will do anything to save the ones he cares about, much like he showed during the fight against the two Specters, where he pierced his ear drums. But not to the point of straight up immolating himself without trying to fight for another solution.  At least, that’s what I got from his character, and what I’m prone to think. 

But he’s not all battle and strength.  His personality is amazing exactly for this reason. He’s cheerful, and lighthearted, and cares deeply about the people he takes under his wing. Plus, he has respect for his equals, as seen when he brought Asmita a gift for his passing.  And don’t let me started on the kids he protected and took with him, that’s enough to show how much this man cares and loves. 

In short, an amazing character and way more should be like him.

If Avenir were to meet the gold saints from the 18th century, what would he think of them?

♚— ...18th century is LC timeline, ya? Ya.... Ya... Ya! Okay (as you can tell, i'm bad at this whole "(number) Century" thing.)

I don't know if I have enough energy to do all 12 of them like how I did for Byaku and Aspros, but I'mma try!!

Aries Shion - Avenir knows Shion. I feel like he thinks Shion to be a pupil of sorts, and he'd treat him fairly. Perhaps with a little more favor since Shion has seen what had happened in the future Avenir is from.

Taurus Aldebaran/Hasgard/Rasgado - Avenir would respect him. Especially since Hasgard ran an orphanage and was kind to kids. God knows how many kids would have been orphans in Avenir's time, and he appreciates that Hasgard was one of the few people in the world that has the courage to do something about it.

Gemini Aspros and Defteros - HA HA, okay, first off, let's say that--like how Manigoldo would--Avenir would HATE Aspros' entire being. Why? Because Sage is Avenir's best friend. Perhaps the Old Twins were the only two that Avenir really leaned on during their holy war. So Aspros trying to kill Sage immediately gains Avenir's hatred and unforgiveness. For Defteros though, I think Avenir would feel pity. I don't believe Avenir is into the whole 'Sins of the Father' trope, but he definitely wouldn't want to show that he pities Defteros. For one, he is Aspros' little brother, and secondly, I don't think Avenir would have... interacted much with the young Gemini because of Aspros' actions. In all though, I don't think Avenir would bother with Defteros before and after learning of Aspros' assassination attempt.

Cancer Manigoldo - Actually, I think Manigoldo would have been taught to respect Avenir. Especially since Sage is Avenir's friend. Either Sage or Hakurei would have beaten respect into the brat if he bad mouthed Avenir, but it's not like Avenir would have disliked it. Perhaps it'll remind him of someone from his timeline. But, Avenir would also tell Manigoldo to stop acting up while he wears Sage's cloth, since the Gold Cloths are sentimental to him.

Leo Regulus - Ah, I don't know. Perhaps he'll pity that Regulus is so young, but he'll be very impressed by the boy's spark. I think he'll probably try to get Regulus to be a regular kid, or try to entertain the child with stories of video games or something.

Virgo Asmita - This is another one that I don't know how it'll go about. Avenir doesn't seem like he has the time to get to know everyone, so he'll probably not bother with Asmita.

Libra Dohko - I think Avenir would be watching Dohko pretty closely... I mean, Shion is pretty much his successor, and I think Avenir would be like a papa sheep to Shion. Aside from the recklessness Dohko has sometimes, I don't think he'd hate him.

Scorpio Kardia - Avenir would think him weird, but also he would probably not bother with him. (In b4 Kardia Scarlet Needles Avenir in the toosh)

Sagittarius Sisyphus - Hm... I don't know.

Capricorn El Cid - Like Asmita, Avenir wouldn't even bother with him.

Aquarius Degel - I think these two would have an interesting meeting. Avenir would obviously know that Degel is French, and being a Frenchman himself, he would probably try to get some familiarity with him? As compatriots. Although Avenir knows that the whole "for the country" thing is outdated in his timeline, I think in the 18th Cent, it was still a very big thing? Patriotism? So yeah. They'll probably talk French when they can--slightly for Avenir's own comfort since it's his native language and he probably hasn't heard his language in a long time.
